Pre-purchase Homeownership Counseling
Are you interested in becoming a first time homebuyer? Are you interested in learning more about the homebuying process?
DCC is here to help! Our counselors will:
- Review your credit report
- Strategize how to increase your credit score (if applicable)
- Determine price range affordability based on your income
- Strategize how to increase savings
- Teach you the terminology and process of purchasing your first home
- Develop a plan of action to achieve homeownership
- Inform you of local grant opportunities
Our housing counseling services primarily serve residents of New York.
- All counselors are trained by the prestigious NeighborWorks® Training Institute.
- All housing counseling services are free of charge!
- Next day, evening and Saturday appointments are available in our centrally located Hauppauge office!
