Significantly Lower Rates

As a nonprofit, licensed credit counseling agency, DCC has established relationships with virtually all creditors. Once you are enrolled in our Program, these creditors agree to help you by significantly lowering your interest rates, sometimes eliminating interest altogether.

Your new, lower interest rates constitute a huge step in accelerating the pace of paying off your creditors completely.  This is because when your interest rate is lower, more of your monthly payment goes to paying down the principal of your debt instead of paying off finance charges, saving you money in the long run.

As a Program participant, all you have to do is agree to stop using the credit cards that you include in the Program. You do not have to include all of your credit cards on our program.  In most cases you can maintain one or more active credit cards for emergencies.
